Say Yes believes that all young people have what it takes to complete a postsecondary education, and that their communities can get them there. We partner with whole cities to offer a citywide tuition scholarship, and facilitate the creation of structures and processes to support a fundamentally new way of working together across sectors toward a common goal.
In considering the possibility of partnership with Say Yes, communities should know that the success of the Say Yes strategy is dependent on the commitment from leadership across all sectors, including the school district, the city, the county, local philanthropic institutions, parents, and the teachers and administrators unions. The ability to coordinate and fund the wraparound support programming for all students in the public school district truly relies on the strength of the partnership among all of these groups.
