President and Chief Executive of Springleaf Financial Services

Jay N. Levine is the current President and Chief Executive of Springleaf Financial Services.

Prior to joining Springleaf Financial services in October 2011, Mr. Levine was President and Chief Executive Officer of Capmark Financial Group Inc., one of America’s largest commercial real estate lenders.

Mr. Levine formerly was President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of RBS Global Banking & Markets. He also served as Chief Executive Officer of RBS Greenwich Capital with responsibility for the company’s institutional businesses in the United States. Under Mr. Levine’s leadership, the businesses experienced several years of uninterrupted profit and franchise growth and raised the profile of the firm to become a top player in all relevant fixed-income markets.

Mr. Levine joined RBS Greenwich Capital in 1993, and prior to his most recent executive roles, held various leadership positions in the organization. Earlier, Mr. Levine served as vice president, Mortgage Trading with Salomon Brothers in New York.

Mr. Levine serves on the Board of Directors of multiple charitable organizations, including CCI in Greenwich, Conn., and the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Connecticut. Mr. Levine has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California at Davis and the University of Leeds in England.

Mr. Levine currently resides in Riverside, CT with his wife and three children.
